I had to say goodbye to an old friend today...

my bank debit card. My bank was bought out and merged with another. So, they sent out new debit cards with completely different numbers. I had my card for over ten years and could recite the numbers by heart(not a good thing according to DH). That card has been all over the country with me. WDW 4 times, Ireland 2 times. It has served me well. And the new card just doesn't have any style, no flair, no personality. I mean, when your bank is called Blue Ball National you can't help but smile. Now we are Community Bank. Blech. Booorrriiinggg. Oh, I guess I'll get used to it. But its just not the same.

It was nice knowing ya pal...I'll never forget ya.

Oh, and no Ireland trips planned for anytime soon. But you never know. I celebrate my 40th birthday next year and I am hinting to DH that a "surprise" trip would be nice. I'll let you know if it works.

Well, its named after the city(and I'm not kidding). I live in Lancaster County, Pa. Famous for such cities as Intercourse and Bird in Hand. So, Blue Ball fits right in.
