No....I think I am going to try to go regardless. Haven't really discussed it with DH yet, but I really want to go with my parents. Granted, I will not be with them ALL the time - definitely want DD and mom time .

DH is a little on the....well....protective side. If I do not go now, when he gave me "permission", then I will have lost all the ground I have gained in the last 15 years of him "letting go". No...he is not controlling (at least mostly...LOL), just nervous about something happening to me. There has been some incedences that has happened to me in the past, that makes him leary of my going without a man - him.

So....as long as he agrees - even if he really doesn't want me to, I WILL go. He likes to give me guilt trips at times. I will go, with NO guilt trips. I will keep saying it over and over again...no guilt trips...no guilt trips....no guilt trips....

Oh I totally understand the whole DH & "permission" & guilt trip thing!! Those dang boys!!
