    Default Trying an offer again??

How soon after trying an offer and not getting credited do you try again? I tried the "ConsumerGiftCenter - American Car" that everyone seemed to be getting credit for, but I have not received credit. Should I wait a couple days or couple weeks to try again? Or if I didn't receive credit, does that mean if I do it again, I won't receive it then either?? I'm still new to SR and I'm still trying to figure out how everything works. I've been trying a couple offers each day for the last few days (mainly the ones that people talked about on the forum & received credit from), but now I have several in my pending file. Any advice and info would be helpful!! Thanks!

Please try to read the stickies in the top of each forum (i.e offers etc) as they'll explain a lot but freebie offers like this you MUST wait 30 days before trying again or the advertiser may think it's fraudulant and pull the offer from SR. Please don't hesitate to ask questions that's what we're here for but it may help to start with the stickies first.

I have read the stickies, I'm just trying to understand why I wouldn't have gotten credit on some of these that others had received payment for quickly. Any ideas??

Have you cleared your cookies? Are you doing offers of the same type at the same time? Since these are tracked by cookies and also by your information it is best to only do one per type a day. For example, if you do a Brandarama today then wait a few days and do another Brandarama. The way I do it is to do about 2 or 3 offers and then wait until the to of the next hour to see if they credit. Once they do then I clear cookies and do 2 or 3 more. I also have to say that doing more than 5 or 6 a day is going to lower your chances. I don't know why but slow and steady wins the race here. Finally, there will always be some offers that just won't credit for you even though they credit for others. I don't know why and I don't have a rhyme or reason to which ones work and which ones don't. I have about 5 in my pending right now. I hope this helps. As long as you are seeing some of them credit then I know your settings are fine and it is just a matter of going slow and spreading out doing offers of the same type.

Thanks for the info! I didn't know that it was better to clear the cookies for offers, I do that for surveys probably about once a day. If an offer hasn't cleared, do you still clear cookies and try a few more? Or just wait for the next day to clear and try a few more??

I usually clear cookies each morning before I sign on. Then I will do the Daily Survey and a few offers. I wait until the top of the hour to see if they credit. If you are completing them at the bottom of the hour and they don't credit at the top I would wait one more hour to be sure they don't credit on the next hour. Once you hit that point and they have either credited or not then I clear cookies again so I can do the OTX and a few more offers. Lastly we do the Your Two Cents Survey since you need to clear cookies b/w the DS and YTC but not b/w the OTX and YTC. This means I am only really clearing cookies twice a day when I do offers. If I have done shopping I will wait for the confirmation emails from the merchant before clearing cookies.

I usually try to give offers around 2-3 hours to credit before I clear cookies. I figure at that point, they have whatever information they need. Keep in mind too, some of these may also be manual credits and show up later on.

Definitely wait till you get order confirmation emails before you clear cookies when shopping.

It sounds like you're learning the ropes pretty fast. Good job!
