Any saxophone players out there?

DS has been playing the clarinet for 4 years and really enjoys it and plays beyond his years. This past fall his band instructor asked if he would be willing to learn to play saxophone for the Middle School jazz band which he has done. Up until now he has been using his teacher's saxophone but I would like to buy him one of his own. I'm not looking for anything too fancy since jazz band only meets twice a week and performs 2 concerts per year and DS intends to continue to play clarinet for regular band which meets everyday and performs 4 concerts. Woodwind Brasswind is having a huge sale right now and I'm trying to decide between 2 different instruments. I would appreciate if anyone who knows something about saxophones could take a look at them and give me your input. Thanks for any help you can give me.
